Vicki Tapp has been in Catalina for the last 8 years after
putting in some serious vocal time in Music City USA. An Ajo, Arizona native, Vicki, has a strong musical background and has been singing for over thirty years. Daughter of Nashville recording artist, Donny Tapp, Vicki's musical upbringing spans gospel, bluegrass, country, rock and contemporary styles. During her time in Nashville, Vicki appeared on The Nashville Network & Country Music Television, sang a duet on the Nationwide Pick Hit of the Week, "You Don't Love Me Anymore" with James DeMarr not to mention all the background vocal sessions and grueling studio work. She also had the pleasure of performing for The Oak Ridge Boys, Bill Monroe, American Thunder, Linda Ronstadt, Vince Gill - Pure Prairie League and Joe Diffie. Today, Vicki is a Catalina resident and performs locally for special events and private parties specializing in all occasion music, oldies, country and big-band. Her next goal is to be the oldest person ever inducted into the Grand Ol' Opry! Take a listen to some of Vicki's vocal endeavors and see if you don't agree that Catalina has a wonderful treasure in this beautiful songbird ... |
